The financial and moral instability of several families in the world is one of the realities that cause the presence of thousands of children on the streets, suffering from unprecedented insecurities and violences. And most of the time, in case of mental handicap or learning disabilities, several children are deprived of certain rights such as reuniting with others for whatever reasons; and in many african countries, they are prevented from accessing rehabilitation centers. When a child with a mental handicap reaches school age, the question of knowing his schooling possibilities arises. Like any child, he has the right and the duty to attend kindergarten and the next cycles. Two choices are possible: integration in an ordinary structure or in a specialized environment. In both systems, the child benefits from special education measures until his twentieth year. And this is a right.
Unfortunately, many children with mental health issues do not have access to appropriate care, ensuring their moral as well as spiritual well-being. In the DRCongo, for instance, having a child said to be "mentally retarded" constitutes a harmful burden for the family. And very often, more than one child experiences multiple forms of physical and moral oppression and abuse, sending them back to creating a small world with themselves and sinking into self-confidence and despair. Many of these children accept the negative image they are portrayed by society, because they lack moral support and attention around them.

Many of these children accept the negative image they are portrayed by society, because they lack moral support and attention around them.
It is with this in mind that the Venus Sutila Foundation, after having built a training center of sewing's trainings for women victims of sexual violence, intends to get involved in the construction of centers for pedagogical-therapeutic measures, in favor of mentally-retarded children in precarious places around the world. Whether a child attends a specialized school or an ordinary school, he will then benefit in both cases from educational and therapeutic measures, such as language and body therapy (speech therapy and psychomotor skills, for example).
In addition to this, the Venus Sutila Foundation is committed to the short and long term construction of orphanages that will bring together several children found on the street, while granting them the opportunity and many moral, social, educational and spiritual values, in deficit. And this, to give them access to a fulfilling community life. Later, we will be encouraged to get young people and adults, with or without disabilities, prepared for the demands of the professional and social world, through specialized guidance and adapted coaching acquired.
