Venus Sutila Foundation (F.V.S) is a non-governmental organization created in Kinshasa/Democratic Republic of Congo on October 20th 2017, by Mrs. Venus M. Sutila. Being based on the humanitarian field, the main aim of F.V.S is to promote the integration of underprivileged people across the world in society through evangelism. We strongly emphasize on impoverished orphans, women victims of sexual abuse, people in irregular detention, the abandoned sick, elderly people and widows in hard situations, and homeless people. According to our purpose of ensuring the development of children in the most precarious corners around the world, we work on 4 principal axes: Education, Health, Food and Housing.

The F.V.S Foundation is currently implemented in Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa, Kongo Central and Bunia /Ituri ), Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Ivory Coast (Abidjan) and the United States (North Carolina, Illinois and Minnesota). With the contribution of a well organized team within, the F.V.S Foundation managed to organize several activities around its goals, such as: setting up a big sewing center for women victims of sexual abuse in Bunia, in order of granting them independence; ensuring the schooling of more than fifty children in DRCongo and Ivory Coast; paying off medical bills of several patients in the Hospital Center of Kisantu, Sanatorium and Kalembelembe (DRCongo); organizing an event promoting the rights of women in the Central Prison of Bunia (DRCongo); medical care of Emerancienne, a girl with chronic physical disability, with a wheelchair and food; and several other actions in Africa and America.  

 

The F.V.S Foundation believes in an educated, ambitious and hopeful generation of change makers around the world. We believe in the exclusion of poverty and inclusion of all categories of people in society, because everyone needs to feel home anywhere.
